Reading “Isaiah” – This past week got to read from Isaiah 1 to Isaiah 41 for the Sunday School lesson. So much to read, many prophecies that I wish to slow down to study. Some messages were strong warnings with future hope. Some prophecies were the coming Messiah, Jesus. *amen* Isaiah’s messages still applies today.

Slowly reading “How To Be Born Again” – A classic book written by Billy Graham for those who wishes to be born again, as well as, for the followers in Christ to learn deeper of what is born again all about.

Street Bob – Got to ride the 2010 Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob to/from work twice this past week. The weather has been unusually warm for several days and when that happens here, expect overcast with some rain. Well, it happened twice during the ride. On my way to work last Monday my motorcycle gear got soaked. On my way home last Thursday, again the motorcycle gear got damp. Got to ride the Street Bob to/from church this morning. *smiling*

650GS – On Monday this past week, I already miss riding the 2009 BMW G650GS to/from work. Although, the 3 years old 650GS was getting its 18,000-mile service, new front and rear tires and a new battery since the previous one was only holding about 50% charge. Don’t want to be stranded anywhere. Gosh, was I excited to ride the 650GS home from the shop yesterday. *smiling*

Got tired of watching toxic television shows and commercials that seems to get longer every year. Instead, we will just rent a movie every now and then.

Yahoo, got more free time now! *grins*

Anyway, after filling up, starting the 650GS and engine would turn over a few times rather weakly and then stalled. Eh? Is the battery weak? That is weird. Just rode it for about 30 minutes. *puzzled* Waited a few minutes to try again, engine would not turn over. Oh oh, that is not good.

I had a similar issue about two weeks ago, December 30th. But, I waited for a few minutes then the 650GS wouldn’t start. Waited for 30 minutes, then the 650GS started right back up with no problem. So, this is the 2nd time in two weeks. *sigh*

Decided to push the 650GS home which took about 30 minutes of some good pushing exercise. At home, I tried again one more time and this time the battery is very drained and there is no engine movement. *groan* Now, that is a problem that need a technician to fix. Something is wrong with the motorcycle charger.

Alright… stored the bike into the garage and not worry about it for a few hours until Melissa got home. She said she got to go to the store. *smiling* I decided to tag along so I could purchase a battery charger, the one that is designed for motorcycles.

Came home, got the maintenance book out and reviewed where the battery is stored. *whoa* That will take a while to get to it. Decided to wait another day before I get started on that task.

Sent an email to Terry’s Two Wheel in Pelham AL asking if I could drop off the 650GS on Saturday January 14th. The next day, I got an email reply saying I could drop off the 650GS anytime between 9am and 2pm. *yahoo*

Right after work, the girls (dogs) got their 45-60 minutes of attention, which is greeting, petting, play, petting, fresh water in bowl, petting, fed them supper, and more petting. *grins* Spoiled, eh!

Afterwards, I got to work on the 650GS and took me almost an hour to get the panels off and battery out and connected to the charger. The battery charger instruction says it may take between 2 to 5 hours. About 2 hours later, it is still charging. Another hour later, still charging. *hmm* Will check in the morning.

Around 1h00 the girls (dogs) woke me up and they needed their potty time. Took them out back and notice the battery is charged! *yay* Disconnected the charger and left it on the table. Girls are done with their potty and we all went back to sleep.

Got up at my usual 5h00, made coffee, and got started -putting it all back together project- on the 650GS. Once the battery is connected, I started the 650GS and it works! *smiling* Put all the panels back, lubed the chains, and got the 650GS ready to ride.

It is still in the mid 20F, so it would be best to wait until almost noon before doing a 70-mile ride to Pelham AL. Around 11h00, I was in my full winter gear because it is still cold, mid 30F. Rode on I-20 west while Melissa followed.

*wow* I love riding. *smiling*

Arrived at Terry’s Two Wheel. Explained to Terry the battery and charging issue, which he will look into it, as well as, get a 18,000-mile service and new tires for front and back.

Melissa and I were hungry for some lunch at the Whole Food Market. We stopped by and enjoyed a delicious lunch before we made our way back home.

and… Life is good! *smiling*

That means cold sunny days are coming right up. Brrr… it’s gonna be cold riding that 650GS tomorrow morning, about 25F.

And, thank God it is friday tomorrow… *smiling*

After riding the BMW 650GS for over two years, I am really getting a better understanding why so many adventure riders prefer this particular motorcycle to travel the world, which can ride in almost any type of climates. *awesome*

Anyway, I rode straight to the public library in my hometown from work. Returned a book and checked out the 2nd book of the same series “A walk across America.” *smiling* Looking forward to continue a good read.

Cloudy days will taper off tomorrow for the southern sunshine to return. *smiling*

Packed all the equipment into a clothes filled suitcase along with the games. Then donated the whole suitcase to a nearby thrift store.

I am sure someone is enjoying the xbox 360, as well as, the games.

Anyway, today I am so glad of making such decision! *smiling* Amen!

We notice when we are both at work during autumn 2007, Moka seems kinda of lonely, but she was always happy when we returned home. Also during that autumn, I met Tasha from time to time at a friend’s place. A friend was looking for someone to adopt Tasha. In January 2008, we brought home a 4 years old Golden Retriever, into our family and Moka and Tasha became best friends.

They have made our lives spectacular for the last 4 years. Moka and Tasha encourage us to do our daily walks. Visit nearby parks. Doing some hikes in the woods. They are comforting company and beautiful girls.

Tasha is now 8 and Moka is 4-1/2 and they continue to encourage and inspire us. *smiling*

Actually, I drove across Canada once and several times across and around America in Volkswagen Jetta. About six months later the rear axel cracked since the Jetta already has over 250,000 miles, I got a pick-up truck and continued the journey for the next year and half until I settled in Florida.

I would say that people should try to do some sort of journey, which does wonders to your soul. *smiling*

After finishing that book last night… I dreamt of Melissa, myself and our two girls (dogs) got into a minivan and travel to various places around America that I have journeyed to in the past. *grins* A wonderful dream.

This park was quiet and relaxing, a peaceful setting. What an awesome way to start our day at a lake park. *smiling*
